Answer me this........Did the old road signs stop working? You know, the signs that say "CONSTRUCTION AHEAD".......Did someone find something wrong in the way they were worded?? Did they, Our Government, have to spend more $$$ in "Designing" these new HUGE signs? I mean...what the heck...we got the loans I guess, we might as well spend it. Is the mentality here? It surely couldn't be for the glorification of our government could it? I think the only thing they missed was that in all their design work, aren't they gonna need these signs to be in a language EVERYONE can read? I mean to be politically correct and all....just wondering...

2010 Kid Update
I went to an auction last Saturday. Bought some stuff I really didn't need but you gotta LOVE auctions! I got home just in time to do chores. I warmed the milk for the four bottle babies and headed to the barn. I fed all four and proceeded to get everything else underway when I found these two saanen kids...one buck and one doe
This morning the baby monitor sounded of in the kitchen and the familiar sound of new babies echoed through the house. I warmed up the colostrum I had saved from last week and hurried out there. Sutter did a great job. For a first timer she had no problems and she had twin boys. One completely FULL of spots and the other almost completely black with a white patch on the top of his head. They both are very tiny but they are doing fine.

Updated post with a picture as proof.
OK, so today at lunch I go to the yearly fish dinner put on by the Ottawa River Coalition. The fish is always good. The thing that was different this year were the census workers sitting at three long tables in the back of the room. In front of them, the tables were full of pens, pencils, travel mugs, hats, pennants and tee-shirts, everything branded with the 2010 logo and such. It's bad enough that our tax dollars are paying to have these people sitting there GIVING...yes I said GIVING this stuff away. At first I thought well, the stimulus money is at least keeping SOMEONE employed. HA, of the three items I actually saw and could read the tags....the travel mug was made in the USA...the tee-shirt was made in Nicaragua and the hats were made in Taiwan.......I don't get it.
It would appear that the hat at least is a product of Taiwan that was assembled in China and as for the Nissin on the cap tag...I think they are from Japan....Our stimulus $$$ hard at work......
