Thanksgiving should be a good time...

Went to the orthopedic doctor last week and was set up for an MRI this past Monday. Returned to the doctor on Tuesday for the findings:

1. Full-thickness retracted post interval supraspinatus insertional tendon tear
is associates peritendinobursitis, glenohumeral capsulosynovitis and mild
fibrofatty mascle replaement.

2. Low-grade outlet stenosis from from AC arthrosis and type 2 acromion configuration

I guess what all that mean is that I have a rotator cuff tear with the added bonus of a bone spur and it all has to be fixed.

I am now scheduled for shoulder surgery on the 22nd of Nov.

So, Thanksgiving should be a good time, as I am left-handed and the shoulder that was MRI'd was indeed my left.

  1. Oh dear, I am afraid that this may be more involved than the knee surgery. Do you have help for the animals (not to mention feeding and dressing yourself)?
